Nadesda Cortez Farfan has a Degree in Biology from the San Antonio Abad University in Cusco (Peru).
She specializes in public policies for the management of natural resources and environmental management, ecosystem services evaluation, tourism and geographic information systems.
She has experience in participatory management focused on rural communities, native communities and local populations belonging to the conservation areas of Tres Cañones, Ausangate, Camanti, Choquequirao and Santuario Hitórico de Machupicchu in Peru, where she has undertaken zoning tasks and training in the Quechua language.
Furthermore, her professional experience is also focused on support for the generation of various management tools for protected areas.
